Overview

Micado Migration gGmbH was founded in Saarbrücken in December 2010. Micado Migration‘s focus is on activities in the context of migration and its consequences in both the countries of origin and the countries of immigration. Micado Migration‘s core competencies are consulting, coordination, implementation and evaluation of programs and projects. This also includes carrying out scientific contract studies. Micado Migration participates in networks, both as a member and as the coordinating agency.

Support in the field of migration

​The central project in the field of reintegration is since 2009 “IntegPlan - Integrated Return Planning”. Micado Migration acts as the project executing agency working together with the Office for Repatriation Assistance of the City of Munich. Local government ministries in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Bremen, Hesse, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Saxony-Anhalt support and co-finance the transnational project activities.

Target group of the ERSO member (in the context of return and reintegration)

The services offered in "IntegPlan" are primarily aimed at the return counseling centres of the participating federal states and their return counsellors and, through them, at potential returnees who are to be networked with counseling centres in selected countries of return.

Funding

"IntegPlan" and its subprojects are funded by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees of Germany (BAMF), the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ), co-financing federal states and the European Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).
